The distinction is everything here. There is a world of difference between "write my essay" (outsourcing) and "here is my essay, give me feedback to improve it" (learning). In the second, you did the work, and AI helps you make it better, exactly what a good teacher or tutor does.

How to use AI for feedback:

Brainstorming. The consistent principle across all three is that AI helps with the structure and starting of your work while you supply the substance and thinking. It gets you unstuck, helps you organize, and supports your process, but the ideas, the argument, the actual learning remain yours.

A caution to carry from the last lesson: keep verifying. AI can suggest a flawed structure or a wrong fact even while brainstorming, so evaluate its suggestions rather than adopting them uncritically. And apply the recurring test, are you using it to help you think or to avoid thinking?
